Job Description
Shoots and edits material for various client projects. Able to produce cutting edge creative work for top-tier clients in a creative, energetic environment. Will work with team of copywriters, art directors, designers and account managers to produce, maintain and update content and design for all clients. Required to maintain a flexible work schedule in order to accommodate evening and weekend shifts and travel to on-site locations for taping.
Necessary Job Skills
- Developing material for production using video camera equipment, makes technical decisions regarding such elements as appropriate lighting, shooting angle and placement and type of microphone; receives explicit instructions regarding assignment
- Edits and assembles final visual/audio material; ensures consistency and relevance to production; monitors technical quality of end product
Experience Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years experience operating video cameras and editing equipment
- Proficient in field and studio lighting, the operation of digital video/audio equipment and editing systems. They should also be familiar with digital files for the web and videotape formats and standards.
- Producing, scripting and interviewing skills are a plus
- Knowledge of television broadcast rules and regulations
- Knowledge of field production techniques and standards
- Skill in visualizing and shooting concepts effectively
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Radio/TV, Film, Fine Arts or related area
